ITT Interconnect Solutions’ KJAYA hermetically-sealed connector series is a low-cost interconnect designed for off-road vehicles which need to withstand low pressure water environments, such as fording streams.
Featuring lightweight aluminium shells and copper alloy contacts, the interconnects utilise a special sealant and are designed to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-810 method 512.5.
The connectors are sealed against water ingress to IP67 standards and can withstand water pressure of 15 PSI. They can also withstand an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The connectors are available in all standard Mil-DTL-38999 insert patterns and in wall and jam-nut mounting receptacles in sizes nine to 25.
