The forthcoming Drives & Controls show at the NEC in Birmingham will feature British made attachment chain from Midlands based chain company, Donghua, the UK arm of one of the world’s biggest chain manufacturers which produces in excess of 30 million metres of finished chain per year. 
The company, which has been distributing chain in the UK since 2009, is promoting its technical workshop located within its headquarters, and distribution centre in the Black Country. These new facilities are dedicated to the build of its Universal Attachment Chain and the company is one of only a few manufacturers who can boast such technical capabilities in the UK.
End-users have historically been tied in with one manufacturer. The solution: Donghua’s Universal Attachment Chain. Bob Wellsbury, managing director of Donghua, explains: “Traditionally, each manufacturer has designed and built attachments exclusive to them, making it impossible to replace with a different make. However, our Universal Attachment Chain programme is unique because it can replace the majority of attachment chain produced by other manufacturers. It is specifically designed to enable distributors to give end-users more choice about the chain supplier they use.”
According to the company, due to unrivalled technical design, Donghua’s Universal Attachment Chains have the same critical dimensions as other chain brands, providing a ‘One Chain Fits All’ solution. Assembled, measured & matched and pre-loaded in the UK workshop, common builds of Donghua’s Universal Attachment Chains are available for immediate delivery. The Universal Attachment Chain comes with a Certificate of Conformity.
Donghua’s Universal Attachment Chain will be on display at Drives & Controls 2016 in April along with samples of their growing range of high quality chain products. This is the 3rd time the company has attended the bi-annual show and this year has booked a larger space with a new bespoke stand design. Brett Southall, sales director explains: “We’re delighted to be exhibiting at Drives & Controls again. We’ve got a lot to talk about, not least that our range of products is growing rapidly and we are keen to promote a ‘one-stop-shop’ philosophy. When it comes to chain, we have whatever you need!”
The company will be using the show to announce a range of low emission, high performance drive products, enabling it to offer the full ‘drive-line’. This range has been produced at its state-of-the-art production facilities in China which uses the latest processing and inspection technologies.
It will also be introducing Leaf Chain products which have recently been accredited with CE Marking. Leaf Chain is used across all sectors, and with Drives & Controls expo such a prominent event in the chain industry calendar, it provides the perfect platform to offer distributor and OEMs information on complementary products within their High Performance Chain solutions range.
