The ultra-compact DTCD and DTCJ DIP switches with a 1.27 mm pitch enable significant PCB space savings while maintaining high functional density. With a low profile of just 2.2 mm, SMT optimization and reliable electrical performance, they are ideal for compact, cost-efficient designs in industrial, communication and medical applications.
The DTCD and DTCJ 1.27 mm pitch DIP switches are ultra-miniature SMT components designed for high-density electronic applications. With a low profile height of just 2.2 mm and up to 46% PCB space savings compared to traditional 2.54 mm solutions, they enable significant footprint reduction without compromising functionality.
Available in Gullwing and J-bend terminations, both versions are optimized for automated SMT assembly, reducing manufacturing complexity and cost. The switches support up to 1000 mechanical cycles and operate reliably across a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. Low contact resistance (≤100 mΩ initial) and stable electrical ratings (up to 100 mA @ 50 V) ensure consistent signal performance.
Applications
Typical applications include address setting and configuration in industrial controls, communication systems (e.g., RS485/Modbus), server hardware (BIOS/CMOS), consumer appliances, and medical devices. Combining miniaturization, durability, and cost efficiency, DTCD / DTCJ provide a scalable solution for modern compact electronic designs.
