The latest video from energy chain specialist igus reveals how the E4.350, the world’s largest polymer energy chain, can be dismantled as quickly and effortlessly as it is assembled with no specialist tools required. The e-chain is taken apart by simply separating the side-links and removing the crossbars.

Easy dismantling of the E4.350 allows for the e-chain to be lengthened or shortened for a specific application.

The E4.350 is resistant to corrosion, sea-water and oil and is perfectly suited for moving large, heavy hoses and cables on oil platforms, in steelworks and for other heavy engineering applications. With an inner height of 350mm, the e-chain is capable of carrying fill weights greater than 100kg/m for unsupported lengths of up to 6.5m.
