Fermat Machine Tool is to present its new CNC cylindrical grinder at EMO 2013 this September in Hanover, Germany.
Ondrej Zoubek, R & D director at Fermat Machine Tool, said: “The open CNC control allowed us to implement our own processing cycles, supported by graphical visualisations. As a result, the operator does not need any knowledge of CNC programming.”
Zoubek claims that the control system allows the company to offer its customers a reliable grinder with maximum performance and minimal maintenance effort.
Fermat Machine Tool is designed for high surface grinding precision, made possible by ACOPOSmulti motion control with an external linear measurement system from Heidenhain.
The BUB E 0/1000 CNC grinder is suitable for production of work pieces in small or medium batch sizes. It is designed for high-precision universal grinding, both axial and surface grinding, with a fixed or oscillating table.
