According to Multi-Contact, its CombiTac connector system now includes the option to include high density data modules.
The compact contact carriers, housing up to 20 poles with 0.6mm diameter contacts, are suitable for where there are space constraints.
The connectors’ Multilam technology gives a rated 300,000 mating cycles and low contact resistance. In addition, the low insertion force units are suitable for cable cross-sections of 0.14 to 0.25mm2, and three types of termination are available.
Applications include industrial test and measurement, factory automation, medical equipment and aeronautic equipment testing.
