The KF series IP66/IP67 Junction Boxes from Evatron are manufactured in flame retardant and self-extinguishing polycarbonate. As these are resistant to UV radiation, protected against rain and saltwater, and are temperature and impact resistant, they are ideally suited to offshore applications.
External brackets for wall mounting are included with the case. Terminal blocks complete with fixing elements are available for insertion in the cable junction boxes, together with cable glands for the versions with knockouts, and these ensure the case maintains its IP66/67 rating.
Smooth walled versions of the KF case are also available in all sizes. These are particularly suitable for an environment where a more stylish, aesthetically pleasing, design is important or where pre-determined connections to the case vary from the version with knockouts.
THE LATEST ADDITION TO THE RANGE
The DK series IP66 Junction Box is the latest addition to the range. With this, integrated elastic membranes replace the knockouts which results in greater flexibility. Cables can be inserted directly through the membrane, maintaining the IP66 rating without the need for cable glands. In addition, however, the elastic membrane can be easily removed for cable entry via cable gland if required.
