Schwer Fittings, which has been involved in the manufacture of stainless steel hose and tube fittings for over 30 years, has purchased two new Doosan CNC machines. Added to the company’s existing machines, this has increased manufacturing capacity in the UK.
The new machines are mainly being used to produce the larger sizes of hose tails and ferrules, improving availability and shortening delivery times.
Products produced by the company are German engineered and British manufactured. The range includes single and twin ferrule compression fittings, hose end fittings and adapters with BSP, metric, NPT and JIC threads. Newly introduced is a range of 4SH interlock hose fittings
Already a member of the BFPA and ISO accredited, with a German Lloyds Gold Award, Schwer Fittings has also recently gained certification from both DNV and ABS to add to RINA and DVGW (www.schwer.com/GB/Qualitaet.html).
