A set of torque tools has been introduced by Harting to ease the installation of its Han(R) range of industrial connectors using axial screw termination technology.
The introduction of axial screw termination technology for connecting fine stranded wires complements the company’s proven screw-termination technology with a popular field-termination technique that is easy to install and compact. Assembly merely requires the appropriately stripped stranded wires as well as a hexagonal wrench, preferably with adjustable torque moment.
Users who are unsure as to which tool is used for which axial screw termination or screw-termination product during assembly can now simply employ a tool from the new Han(R) Series of torque tool sets. Installation merely involves adjusting and applying the tightening torque appropriate for the wire gauge. As a result, products such as the Han(R) 200A Axial or the Han 40A Axial can be easily and securely installed.
