Interconnect systems manufacturer, Nicomatic SA, has announced a fast turn-around, one-stop-shop, cable assembly service for its range of CMM, DMM and DLMM miniature connectors. With a new, standardized, easy-to-use ordering system, quotes can be turned around in a day. Lead times are also short.
Nicomatic’s 2mm pitch CMM connectors meet or exceed MIL-DTL-55302F specifications and offer extreme modularity, with up to 120 pins and a mix of signal and power contacts to suit specific requirements. DMM connectors comply with MIL-DTL-83513G performance and can include coax as well as signal and power contacts. DLMM connectors feature metalized plastic shells affording lightweight EMI protection.
The new cable service from Nicomatic covers flying leads (Nicomatic connector plus cable), back-to-back assemblies (same connector on each end) or back-to-back reversed (signal contacts only). Nicomatic holds stocks of military cables and offers various options including back-potting, backshells (DMM and DLMM) and screening. Cable assemblies are subject to 100% electrical continuity testing.
Nicomatic’s Phil McDavitt, said: “Our new system means that getting quotes and designs produced and delivered has been simplified for our customers and assemblies are now available on very short lead times. We manage all the logistics, quality and control processes to IPC-A-620-C standards.”
