To bring its high-power drive solutions closer to customers across Southern Europe, Nidec Drives has expanded its manufacturing capabilities in Spain. The DFS (Drive Freestanding) range will be produce here.
The expanded regional capability will help reduce lead times, strengthen supply flexibility and provide greater access to fully tested, factory-configured drive solutions for demanding industrial applications.

The DFS range combines factory-configured high-power drive packages with Nidec’s proven drive technology, helping OEMs, system integrators, distributors and industrial end users streamline project delivery and reduce procurement complexity. Each solution is supplied as a complete, pre-engineered cabinet that integrates the drive with key power components, including chokes, circuit protection devices and optional filtering, reducing engineering requirements and accelerating installation.
