Circular connectors, Modular Connectors, Mass interconnect solutions, Electrical contacts, Heavy duty and can also offer a full cable assembly service for these products from their ODU approved UK facility.
The circular connectors are available in metal or plastic housings. There are panel mount, cable mount and PCB mounted versions with Push-Pull, Breakaway and screw lock locking systems available.
The metal versions are found in the ODU Mini Snap, ODU AMC and ODU AMC High Density ranges. The ODU Medi Snap provides the plastic versions.
All of the circular ranges can offer high speed signalling such as USB, Ethernet 10G, Cat5, USB 3.2 and HDMI. There are also hybrid inserts for combined transmission and fibre optic, air or liquid. With 2 through to 55 contacts in 4 circular sizes available and IP ratings from IP50 to IP69.
Applications for these connectors include medical, test and measurem

The ODU Mac modular system is an open system which allows the combination of standard solutions and individual options to be included in one modular connector. The flexible modular design enables the combination of a wide range of different combinations within one connection, which can include signals, high frequency, high voltage, fibre optic and pneumatic such as air or liquid. Manual mating and automatic versions are available.

The ODU Heavy Duty connectors are a robust circular series of connectors that will withstand rain, wind, water, snow or frost. Whether installed into container cranes or in the smelting furnace, the solid housings are configured for very harsh environments. The ODU Springtac contacts are used as contact elements for the connection of signals or high current. This ensures a safe and continuous connection even under vibration.
Mass Interconnect Solutions range are ideal for testing printed circuit boards and electronically assembled units, with an innovative engagement option: electromechanical with remote control available. 8 tensioning points stop the frame distorting. Maximum flexibility is provided with the ODU Mac modules and signal blocks and the system has been designed with easy maintenance access for simple and fast modification.
Selwyn offer not only the ODU high quality connectors but have a fully approved facility to manufacture cable assemblies using the ODU connectors. They have been assembling cable assemblies for ODU for a number of years and have the experience and know how to produce high quality, fully tested cable assemblies utilising the ODU ranges.
