New from TR Fastenings are plastic fasteners and fixings for PCB hardware and cable management requirements.
The range, which is manufactured in high-performance Nylon 6 and Nylon 6/6, includes circuit board hardware, rivets, screws, cable management and wiring accessories.
Functional and reliable, the new products are said to be easy to use, and offer strength at low and high temperature, resistance to impact, abrasion, organic solvents and gasoline, retention of shape and stiffness at high temperature. Meeting necessary industry standards and sizes, all products satisfy the RoHS legislation, are ISO 14001/2004 compliant and available in flame-retardant versions.
One typical example is Nylon 6 SR snap rivets – compact, two-piece, pre-assembled, multi-function fasteners which require no application tools and are ideal for high-volume manufacturing of printed circuit boards, such as in mobile phones, and most forms of panel-fixing.
As well as being suitable for use in the electronics and telecoms industry, such as in ATM machines, PCs, laptops and mobile phones, and in lighting, the products can also be used in applications in the consumer goods, marine and contract manufacturing industries.
