PD+I is returning for 2014 with new branding, a new venue and a brand rich line up of speakers. Chaired once again by Kevin McCullagh, Plan’s founding director and Core 77 columnist, the conference will be held on the 22nd and 23rd May 2014 at the London’s Guoman Tower hotel.

The keynote speaker line-up already includes Orange, Toyota, BBH, Philips and 3M; and over 200 delegates are expected to attend.

PD+I 2014 will allow delegates to find out about the hottest new trends, technologies, materials and processes as well as discover new opportunities and how to apply them to future commercial growth.

Conference director Jerry Taylor from event organisers Crain Communications comments: “PD+I has become a regular fixture for heads of design and innovation, leading in-house business designers, design consultancy seniors and academics. This latest conference is no exception, once again providing lively debate and in depth analysis of current and future design trends and challenges from key thought leaders and heads of industry.

“As we emerge from one of the toughest economic climates in recent times, the importance of design and innovation and the role these disciplines can play to support sustained growth will be at the heart of many of our conference papers.  With sector specific themes spanning automotive, FMCG and healthcare, topics include management, entrepreneurship, influence and ethics, and education.”
