MAC Solutions is to hold a series of UK launch events and technical seminars to introduce the benefits of the new eWON Flexy, a flexible, modular, industrial machine-to-machine (M2M) VPN router.

The seminars are aimed at OEMs, machine builders, systems integrators and anyone involved in M2M communications or who is considering adding M2M communications to their existing machines and equipment. The first will take place on 4th February at the De Vere Village Manchester in Bury, and attendees can choose either the morning seminar session or the repeat seminar in the afternoon.

Dave Hammond, product manager ethernet & communications at MAC Solutions, will host the seminars, along with John Pritchard, managing director of MAC Solutions.

According to the company, the new router is  set to ‘revolutionise remote-access to industrial sites and machines’.

The agenda for the seminars will include:

  • The challenges of achieving access to remote site equipment.
  • Old-style methods for remote-access.
  • Modern, Internet-based, Cloud-based methods for remote-access.
  • Monitoring, programming & fault-finding remote devices.
  • Alerts, alarms and data from remote devices.
