Avnet Memec, an Avnet Inc. (NYSE:AVT) company, has announced the dates for its latest UK TechDay seminars. The free one-day events will be dedicated to the Internet of Things and comprise keynote speakers combined with hands-on technology streams and presentations.
Workshops are being held in Oxford and Cambridge on:
• Tuesday 03 June – Culham Science Park, Oxford
• Thursday 05 June – Imperial War Museum, Duxford
Both dates will host keynote presentations from Nick Hunn, CTO and founder of WiFore Consulting and Paul Williamson, director of Low Power Wireless at CSR, in conjunction with educational presentations.
Participants will have access to six instructive technology streams throughout the day covering key IoT subjects. Topics covered include wireless and wired communications, cloud services, a hands-on IoT MCU solutions lab, smart sensor power management and sensors & AFE. Participants will have two opportunities to attend each session to ensure they gain the maximum benefit from their day.
An exhibition area will run alongside the seminar sessions and will host some of Avnet Memec’s key partners. Participants can meet the experts and view demonstrations of the latest technologies.
