Variable speed drives manufacturer, Invertek Drives, is encouraging gaming fans to play online game Power Wars to be in with a chance of winning an iPad mini.mediumrhydian welson plays power wars 300 dpi medium

Invertek originally launched the game at SPS 2013 to raise awareness of the low harmonic credentials of its newest product – the HVAC Eco.

HVAC Eco uses the latest technology to minimise disruption (harmonics) of the incoming mains power supply which can be created by non-linear loads, such as AC drives – resulting in improved performance and efficiency.

Power Wars is an online space invaders style game where players control a ‘fighter’ (cunningly disguised as a HVAC Eco drive) to rid the galaxy of rogue forces – in much the same way that HVAC Eco aims to eliminate disruption to the mains power supply.

The game will be available online throughout February and March – all scores will be entered onto the online leaderboard and the highest scores will be in with a chance of winning an iPad mini.
