A new Datron MV1500 CNC production cell at Spelsberg’s headquarters in Telford means that the company is able to offer rapid customisation times, for any order size, to almost all the standard products in its range.
Chris Lloyd, general manager of Spelsberg UK, said: “Customisation is an important part of our business. Despite having a standard product list of well over 4000 enclosures, we understand that every application is different and that no-one wants to compromise when it comes to protecting their product.
“The new CNC machine offers a significant advantage over our existing machines in that once modified it will then enable us to be able to machine multiple lids and bases.”
