For the third year in succession, super precision ball bearing manufacturer The Barden Corporation (UK)  will be exhibiting at the Engineering Design Show (Wednesday 22nd – Thursday 23rd October 2014, Jaguar Exhibition Hall, Ricoh Arena, Coventry).

Visitors to The Barden Corporation’s stand (C45), which will be located opposite the stand of parent company and headline sponsor Schaeffler (D40), will have the opportunity to view a range of super precision ball bearings and cross-sectional displays across a range of different applications. As usual, experts from The Barden Corporation will be on hand throughout the show to provide advice and guidance on bearing selection or to discuss specific application issues.

The Barden Corporation will host a workshop on Thursday 23rd October (11.15am – 11.55am, Workshop Theatre 1) during which business development manager, Nick Dowding, will give a presentation on “Design and Manufacture of Bearing Solutions to Reduce Total Cost of Ownership.” Attendees will learn about the benefits of optimised design, the win/win nature of optimised supply chains and how the overall cost of ownership can often be lower, even with a more expensive product or machine component.

The Barden Corporation serves a wide range of industry sectors, including aerospace, defence, medical, vacuum pumps and critical industrial applications. As well as providing an extensive range of super precision deep groove and angular contact ball bearings, The Barden Corporation also specialise in developing non-standard bearing designs for harsh, high performance, high speed applications. These custom-engineered bearings may, for example, require special cage designs or closures, special sealing technologies, lubrication features, or special surface coatings and bearing materials.
