An advanced machine lighting solution that exceeds the stringent requirements of the Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC has been launched by ifm. The DV301x range is engineered to deliver exceptional illumination and versatile status visualisation in an efficient and sleek 250mm package.
Each module generates 450 lumens of light, with the flexibility to link up to four modules for customised installations. Combining bright white lighting for machine area illumination with vibrant RGB LEDs for clear status signalling, this dual functionality ensures performance without compromise. Despite this, the DV301x boasts one of the lowest energy consumption rates in its class.
Suitable for use in tough industrial conditions, DV301x modules feature a robust, chemical-resistant housing crafted through advanced plastic injection moulding technology. These have an hygienic, smooth-surface construction, so can also be used in sensitive sectors such as food processing. Flexible mounting options – including screw, magnet, or ifm clamp – ensure seamless integration across a variety of applications.

The range supports direct control via four 24 V DC channels and offers advanced functionality through IO-Link integration, enabling comprehensive command and monitoring for intelligent process management. These features give precise control over lighting and operational feedback while driving energy savings and resource optimisation.
By reducing energy consumption, minimising operational waste, and extending service life, these modules empower organisations to lower their carbon footprint and strengthen their sustainability efforts across the value chain.
