New from Aerotech are the modular ACT series linear actuators, featuring ultra smooth brushless linear servomotors, sub micron level encoder feedback and heavy duty linear guide bearings. Actuator widths are 115mm, 140mm and 165mm, and travel range is from 100mm to 1.5m.
These offer high production throughput and improved accuracy, and the servomotor technology means smooth performance with no cogging. With benefits such as zero backlash and friction, the 320 VDC linear motor used permits high levels of performance plus smooth velocity and positioning control.
Options allow users to select a complete positioning system with price and performance matched to requirements.
