WEG has enhanced its ability to provide complete integrated solutions for power transmission applications with the WATT range of gear units and geared motors following its acquisition of the Austrian manufacturer.
The WATT range includes helical, shaft mounted, parallel shaft, helical worm, helical bevel, angle parallel shaft, and worm gearboxes. These provide flexibility, a power range up to 20,000Nm output torque, excellent running and smoothness, minimal backlash, maximum operational safety and diverse mounting possibilities.
Using the modular WATT MAS gear and motor system, it is possible to deliver reliable and economical solutions that are customised to specific customer requirements, states the company.
