Flow rates to 25 litres/min at up to 80psi, low noise and minimal pulsations, are the result of the patented five chamber diaphragm and piston design of Becktech’s Aquatec 550 series pumps.
These compact self-priming pumps, which are approximately 100 x 125 x 200mm and weigh 3.6kg, are designed for intermittent duty but may run continuously for hours and can run dry. They can be controlled by a pressure switch or an external power control device and can incorporate an integrated bypass to limit pressure. Control options are an internal bypass for 20-100 psi or pressure switch for 40-70 psi. Self priming abilities are from 7ft to 13ft. Pump-head materials are available to pump most common industrial liquids, and liquid temperature can be up to 77°C.
